Description

The Roi is a single arm wall light in a gold finish, with a brass base and a ribbed dome shade in transparent fumé glass. A round gold backplate sits on the wall and a slim straight arm runs out from it, so the fitting projects 22cm. A short stem drops from the arm to a flat gold disc, and the fumé glass dome hangs beneath it, 12cm across and 9.5cm tall. Fine ribs run down its curve, breaking the light into soft vertical lines, while the fumé tint softens it to a gentle glow. It takes one G9 lamp; we recommend a G9 LED.

Being a wall light with a modest 22cm projection, the Roi suits places where a ceiling light alone leaves the walls flat: a hallway or landing, either side of a bed in place of table lamps, or in pairs flanking a mirror, a fireplace or a sofa in the living room. Its clean lines and plain round backplate sit comfortably in a modern interior, and the gold finish pairs well with warm woods, cream walls and darker painted colours alike. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.
