Description

The Roi single arm wall light holds a ribbed dome of transparent fumé glass beneath a slim black arm. A round backplate sits flat to the wall, a straight arm reaches out from it, and a short stem drops from the arm to the shade, so the whole fitting reads as a neat T with the glass hanging beneath it. The fluted ribs run the length of the dome, giving the smoked glass a textured surface. The fitting projects 22cm from the wall, and the shade itself is 9.5cm tall with a 12cm diameter, compact enough for a narrow stretch of wall. It takes one G9 lamp, and we recommend a G9 LED.

This is a wall light for the dry rooms of the house. A run of them along a hallway, corridor or landing gives a steady rhythm of light, and the modest 22cm projection keeps the fitting neat where space is tight. A pair either side of a hall mirror or a sideboard, or framing a bed, suits its single shade well. In a living room or snug it works as an accent on the wall alongside a ceiling light. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The clean modern lines sit comfortably on plain painted walls and in period rooms alike.
