Description
The Rodi 2 Light Linear Wall Light is a long straight bar in matt green, standing 146cm tall and projecting just 7.5cm from the wall. Its linear shape is pared right back: a slim iron rod with a shorter back section that sits against the wall, so the fitting reads as a single drawn line rather than a lamp. It takes two GU10 lamps and sends its light up and down, so the wall itself becomes part of the effect. GU10 is a widely used lamp cap, so you can set the mood with warmer or cooler bulbs over the years.
Being so tall and so slim, it suits places where wall height is generous and floor space is tight: a hallway, a landing, or the wall of a stairwell, where its long line follows the climb. Fitted beside a window, a pair can frame the glass on each side, and in a living room or dining room a pair either side of a sideboard or fireplace gives a balanced, architectural look. It is equally at home in a modern bedroom. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Control is a simple on-off switch, so there is no dimmer to think about.
The structure is iron, finished in matt green, a colour that sits comfortably with natural wood, stone and linen. It is made for 220-240V mains and carries a 3 year guarantee; as a mains fitting, it is one for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, we like it against warm white or pale plaster walls, where the green line stands out clearly, or on a deep green wall for a tonal, tailored finish. In a narrow hallway, hang two along the same wall at even spacing for rhythm, and choose warm white bulbs for the evening.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Rodi wall light take?
It takes two GU10 lamps, one of the most widely used lamp caps, so warmer or cooler bulbs are easy to choose for the room.
How big is the Rodi linear wall light?
It stands 146cm tall and projects 7.5cm from the wall, so it reads as a slim, tall line without crowding a narrow hallway or landing.
Which way does the light go?
It sends light both up and down from the rod, washing the wall above and below, which suits framing a window or a doorway.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a hallway, landing, living room or bedroom.
Is it dimmable?
It is controlled by a simple on-off switch rather than a dimmer, so it suits rooms where you want steady light at the flick of a switch.
What is it made of?
The structure is iron with a matt green finish, giving a slim, solid linear rod with a quiet, modern look on the wall.
