Description

The Rocio is a single-light pendant with a drop-shaped champagne glass shade suspended from a polished gold ceiling canopy, housing an integrated 5W 3000K LED. The glass shade contains deliberate air bubbles trapped during the moulding process, which scatter the light internally and produce a softer, textured glow rather than a hard spotlight effect.

The pendant suits dining tables, kitchen islands, bedside positions and hallways where a compact accent light is needed rather than primary room illumination. The 480lm output provides warm ambient light sufficient for atmospheric lighting but not bright enough to replace a main ceiling fitting. The suspension is adjustable from 25cm to 170cm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the appropriate height for different ceiling types and room uses.

The champagne glass tone is a warm amber-gold rather than clear or smoke-tinted glass, and the polished gold metalwork on the canopy and cable grip matches the glass hue. The combined 12cm diameter and 14cm shade height give the pendant a compact, jewelry-like presence that works in multiples or as a single accent. The air bubbles vary slightly between individual pieces as they are formed during the glass-blowing process, so no two Rocio shades are identical in bubble placement or density.

The LED is sealed into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. Schuller rates the LED lifespan at approximately 25,000 hours under normal use. The IP20 rating limits the Rocio to dry indoor use only — bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor locations are not suitable.

The 5W LED produces 480lm at 3000K, which provides warm ambient light rather than task-level brightness. For a dining table, most users pair the Rocio with additional ceiling lighting or install multiple Rocio pendants in a row to increase total output.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The 5W LED is sealed into the fitting during manufacture and is not user-replaceable. Schuller rates the LED at approximately 25,000 hours of use under normal conditions.

How is the suspension length adjusted?

The cable is adjustable during installation using the cable grip mechanism inside the ceiling canopy. Once set, the length is fixed until the fitting is taken down and re-adjusted. The range is 25cm minimum to 170cm maximum drop from the ceiling.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Rocio to dry indoor locations only. Bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor installations are not suitable due to moisture exposure risk.
