Description

The Rocio is a single pendant light built around a teardrop-shaped solid glass shade with decorative bubbles suspended within the glass itself. An integrated 5W 3000K LED sits inside the shade, casting 480 lumens of warm white light through the transparent glass and bubble detail. The pendant hangs from a polished chrome canopy on an adjustable suspension that can be set between 25cm and 170cm drop during installation.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, bedside positions and entrance halls, the Rocio works as both task and ambient lighting depending on the drop height chosen. The 12cm diameter glass shade keeps the footprint compact enough for installation over small dining tables or in tight hallway spaces, while the 170cm maximum drop allows the pendant to be brought low over a counter or island worktop in kitchens with standard 2.4m ceilings. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only.

What drop height works best over a dining table?

For a dining table, most installations set the bottom of the glass shade 700-800mm above the table surface. With the shade height at 14cm, this typically requires a drop setting of 80-90cm from the ceiling rose, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Can the glass shade be cleaned?

Yes. The solid glass can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner once the pendant is switched off and cool. The decorative bubbles are within the glass itself, not on the surface, so they do not collect dust.

Is the pendant suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Rocio to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens directly above sinks or hobs, or any location where water spray or steam is present.
