Description

The Rocio is a 5-light cluster pendant combining champagne-toned glass droplet shades with a circular gold-finished ceiling plate. Each of the five shades is shaped as a teardrop with internal bubble detailing visible through the translucent glass, suspended on individual cables from a 30cm-diameter canopy. The integrated LED module delivers 25W at 3000K across the five shades and supports dimming when paired with a compatible dimmer switch.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and stairwells with ceiling heights between 2.5m and 3.5m, the Rocio works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The cables are adjustable between 45cm and 150cm during installation, allowing the cluster to be configured symmetrically at equal heights or staggered to create a cascading effect. The 30cm canopy diameter fits standard UK ceiling roses and the IP20 rating suits dry interior spaces only.

The champagne glass finish sits between clear and amber, diffusing the 3000K warm white LED into a soft glow that avoids glare while highlighting the bubble texture inside each shade. The gold-finished metal canopy and cable hardware pair with warm brass, copper and wood-toned interiors. At 5.75kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings into joists or a suitable mounting plate, particularly when the cables are set at longer drops where lateral movement increases.

Each glass shade measures approximately 10-12cm in height based on the teardrop profile visible in the image, with the widest point around 7-8cm. The bubble inclusions vary between individual shades as a characteristic of the glass-forming process, so no two Rocio pendants look identical when examined closely.

The integrated LED is rated at 25W and supports dimming when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific model — contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

Can the cable lengths be adjusted independently?

Yes. Each of the five cables can be set to a different length during installation, allowing you to configure the cluster symmetrically at equal heights or staggered to create a cascading waterfall effect.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 45cm to 150cm. For dining tables or kitchen islands the shades typically hang 70-90cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. Higher ceilings of 3m-3.5m suit the longer drop settings.

Is the glass fragile during cleaning?

The champagne glass shades are blown glass and should be handled carefully. Dust with a soft microfibre cloth while the fitting is switched off and cool. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the glass and do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners.
