Description

The Rocio is a 5-light linear bar pendant with five drop-shaped solid glass shades suspended from a polished chrome bar, each shade filled with decorative bubbles and housing an integrated LED. The combined 25W output at 3000K provides warm ambient light across a 960mm span, making it suited to dining tables, kitchen islands and console tables in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings.

The pendant suspends on adjustable cables that allow the overall drop to be set between 300mm minimum and 1,450mm maximum during installation. This range accommodates different ceiling heights and lets the pendant sit 700-900mm above a dining surface or kitchen island for comfortable task and ambient lighting without glare. The polished chrome bar and fittings reflect surrounding light while the bubble-filled glass softens the LED point sources into diffused pools of warm light.

Each glass drop is hand-formed with controlled air bubble inclusions that scatter light internally, creating depth and visual interest when the pendant is lit and acting as sculptural objects when unlit. The 0-10V dimmable LED driver responds to compatible wall dimmers, allowing output to be reduced from full brightness to near-off for different times of day or dining moods. The polished chrome finish pairs with contemporary, mid-century and Scandinavian interiors where reflective metal accents are used alongside natural materials.

Rocio carries an IP20 rating, limiting it to dry indoor environments. The Class 1 electrical rating requires an earth connection during installation. Gravity toggles are included to support the 6.79kg weight on plasterboard ceilings; solid ceilings use standard fixing screws into joists or concrete.

Is the Rocio dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED uses a 0-10V dimmable driver. You will need a compatible LED wall dimmer rated for 0-10V control to adjust brightness. Standard trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmers designed for resistive loads will not work with this fitting.

What height above a dining table is recommended?

The pendant is typically installed 700-900mm above the dining surface. The adjustable cables allow you to fine-tune this during installation based on your ceiling height and preferred visual balance.

Can the pendant be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The cables are length-adjustable but not designed for angled suspension. On a sloped ceiling the pendant will hang vertically from the ceiling rose, which may create an off-centre appearance depending on the slope angle.

What room width does the 960mm bar suit?

The 960mm span works well over dining tables 1,400-2,000mm long or kitchen islands 1,200-1,800mm long, providing balanced coverage without the pendant feeling oversized or undersized relative to the surface below.
