Description

The Rocio is a 3-light glass cluster pendant from Schuller, featuring three teardrop-shaped glass shades suspended from a 25cm diameter chrome canopy. Each shade contains a bubble-filled clear glass outer layer with an opalescent inner diffuser, housing an integrated LED module that delivers warm 3000K light. The combined 15W LED output (1.44lm total) provides gentle ambient illumination rather than task-level brightness.

Designed for dining tables, breakfast bars and entrance halls where decorative interest takes priority over high light levels, the Rocio works in spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The suspension cables adjust from 50cm minimum to 140cm maximum drop, allowing the cluster to be positioned 60-80cm above a table surface. The chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cables conceal the wiring run. An RF remote control (supplied) provides dimming functionality despite the specification table stating non-dimmable — the TRIAC/0-10V driver supports remote dimming.

Each glass shade measures approximately 8-10cm in diameter and hangs at slightly different heights to create visual depth when viewed from multiple angles. The bubble texture within the glass catches and refracts light, creating sparkle points across the shade surface when the LEDs are lit. The chrome finish on the canopy and cable terminations pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors and warmer transitional schemes. At 3.31kg total weight, the pendant requires a ceiling joist or appropriate fixings for safe installation.

Yes. Despite the specification table stating non-dimmable, the Rocio includes a TRIAC/0-10V driver and an RF remote control that provides dimming functionality. The integrated LEDs can be adjusted from full brightness down to low ambient levels.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable cables allow a drop range of 50cm minimum to 140cm maximum. For positioning above a dining table or breakfast bar, ceiling heights of 2.4m or above work well, allowing the pendant to hang 60-80cm above the surface.

How bright is the light output?

The 15W integrated LED produces 1.44lm total output at 3000K colour temperature. This provides gentle ambient light rather than task-level brightness, making the Rocio primarily a decorative fitting that contributes atmospheric glow rather than primary room illumination.
