Description

The Rocio is a 14-light glass cluster pendant with fourteen raindrop-shaped glass shades suspended at staggered lengths from a polished chrome circular canopy. Each drop is formed from solid glass containing tiny decorative bubbles, giving the material depth and texture when lit. An integrated 70W LED system delivers 6,720 lumens at 3000K warm white across all fourteen drops.

Designed for double-height spaces, entrance halls, and stairwells with ceiling heights of 3m or more, the Rocio creates a vertical cascade of light that runs from canopy to final drop over a maximum length of 500cm. The adjustable cables allow the cluster to be shortened to a minimum 100cm drop for lower ceilings, or extended to the full 500cm where ceiling height permits. The supplied RF remote provides smooth dimming without needing a wall dimmer — the TRIAC/0-10V driver inside the canopy responds to the remote signal for flicker-free control from 10-100% brightness.

The chrome canopy measures 50cm in diameter and conceals the cable distribution and driver. Gravity toggles keep the canopy level against the ceiling rose once installed. The combined weight of glass, metalwork and driver totals 17.6kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard anchor point. The raindrop shades catch and reflect ambient daylight during the day, then scatter warm LED light across walls and ceilings when lit at night, creating movement and depth in tall vertical spaces.

The IP20 rating limits the Rocio to dry indoor environments. The integrated LEDs are non-replaceable — at end of life the entire fitting is replaced. Energy class F reflects the lower efficacy of decorative LEDs compared to functional fittings, but the 70W total load remains significantly lower than a 14-bulb chandelier using traditional halogen or incandescent sources.

Yes. The integrated LED uses a TRIAC/0-10V driver that responds to the supplied RF remote control for smooth dimming from 10-100% brightness. No wall dimmer is required — the remote provides wireless control from anywhere in the room.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Rocio is designed for spaces with ceiling heights of 3m or more. The adjustable cables allow a minimum drop of 100cm and a maximum of 500cm, so the cluster can be tailored to suit the specific room height.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated into the fitting and are non-replaceable. At end of life the entire pendant is replaced. LED lifespan is typically 25,000-30,000 hours of use.

How is the 17.6kg weight supported?

The canopy must be fixed to a ceiling joist or a reinforced plasterboard anchor rated for the full 17.6kg load plus a safety margin. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient — professional installation is recommended to ensure safe mounting.
