Description

The Knightsbridge RMS Bluetooth speaker outlet is a flush-mounted wireless speaker system built into a single-gang screwless brushed chrome faceplate. The speaker module connects to any Bluetooth-enabled device within range, turning the wall plate into a wireless audio point without visible speakers or separate enclosures.

Designed for kitchens, bedrooms, hotel rooms and AV installations where distributed audio is needed without surface-mounted speakers, the RMS outlet fits a standard 35mm minimum back box and draws power from 230V mains. The Bluetooth module pairs with smartphones, tablets, laptops and smart assistants including Alexa, allowing streaming from music services or voice control integration. The speaker grille occupies the centre of the faceplate, with the perforated metal panel acting as both aesthetic detail and acoustic outlet.

The brushed chrome finish matches other Knightsbridge screwless ranges, allowing the speaker outlet to sit alongside switches and sockets in a coordinated installation. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding fixings and providing a clean face once fitted. The speaker module delivers 80dB output, suitable for background music and podcast listening in rooms up to approximately 20m² without requiring additional amplification.

Yes. The RMS Bluetooth speaker outlet can be paired with Alexa-enabled devices for voice-controlled music streaming and smart home integration. It does not contain Alexa itself, but acts as a wireless speaker for devices that do.

The 80dB output handles background music in rooms up to approximately 20m² (a typical bedroom or small kitchen). For larger spaces or higher volume requirements, multiple outlets can be installed or alternative speaker solutions may be more appropriate.
