Description

Our Rio Single Arm Wall Light is a wall light and a pendant in one fitting. A slim yellow arm rises from a narrow wall plate and runs out sideways, and from its far end a textile cable drops to a single domed shade. The iron structure is finished in yellow from the wall plate to the shade, so the colour reads as one clean line across the wall. The fitting stands 46cm tall, and the shade is 15cm tall and 16cm across. It takes one GX53 lamp and runs on a 220 to 240V supply.

With its shade hanging well out from the wall, it brings light to a spot a ceiling pendant would usually serve: over a side table, beside a reading chair, at the end of a sofa or above a desk. A pair works nicely either side of a bed or a dining sideboard, and its clean, modern lines suit cafés, restaurants and hotel bedrooms as readily as a family home. It is a good answer where you want light close to where you sit or read, rather than only from overhead. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.
