Description

The Rimini is a small LED pendant light with a conical shade in matt black, built on an iron structure and hung from a 1.5m black textile cable. Its light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit or change. It draws 4.5W and gives 600 lumens through a 45° beam, which throws a focused pool of light downwards rather than washing the whole room. With a CRI of 90 or more, wood, fabric and food keep their true colours beneath it. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 3000K or 2700K: 2700K is the warmer, cosier white for evenings at home, while 3000K is a touch fresher and still warm.

Dimming is by DALI, so it needs a DALI control system or a DALI dimmer, which makes it a natural choice for homes and buildings already wired for DALI control. Hung singly, it marks a bedside table or a reading chair. Hung in a row, it lights a dining table, a sideboard or a hallway console, keeping the light on the surface where you want it. Its modern, Scandinavian lines suit pale walls, oak and plain linen, and the small cone leaves the view across a room open. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The structure is iron with a matt black finish, and the textile cable keeps the drop neat and soft-looking. It runs on 220-240V mains and is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 5 year guarantee. Matt black is an easy finish to live with: it picks up black picture frames and iron furniture, and it sits crisply against a white or grey wall without competing with the artwork. Over a dining table, hang a line of them along its length, high enough to clear heads and low enough for each beam to land on the table.
