Description

We stock the Rim as a 600mm LED ring pendant in matt black aluminium, built for hanging over a dining table or kitchen island. An integrated 36W LED runs along the inner edge of the halo, giving 1152 lumens of warm white 3000K light in a wide 120 degree spread at 80 CRI, so the ring lights the surface below while bouncing a little ambient light off the ceiling above.

The 600mm diameter suits tables between roughly 1.2m and 1.8m long, working as the main light over a table or as accent lighting in a larger open-plan kitchen or living space. It hangs on two thin steel suspension cables from a round black ceiling canopy, and the cables let you set the drop during installation. The low-sheen matt black finish keeps reflections down and sits well with contemporary, minimalist and industrial rooms.

The integrated LED is dimmable on a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer (sold separately), so you can run it at full output for task work or bring it down to a soft glow for evening dining. It runs on 220-240V AC 50Hz mains with an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms, and the aluminium frame keeps the 600mm ring rigid without adding bulk. The larger 1200mm and 1340mm versions of the Rim, and a brass finish, are listed separately if you need a different size or tone.

Frequently Asked

Is this pendant dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 36W LED dims on a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness down to a soft glow for dining.

What size table does the 600mm ring suit?

The 600mm diameter works well over tables between roughly 1.2m and 1.8m long. For larger tables we also list the Rim in 1200mm and 1340mm.

How does it hang and can I adjust the height?

It hangs on two thin steel suspension cables from a round black ceiling canopy, and you set the drop during installation to suit your ceiling height.

Do I need to buy bulbs?

No. The LED is integrated and gives 1152 lumens of warm white 3000K light, so there are no separate bulbs to fit. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.
