Description

We stock the Rim as a 1200mm LED ring pendant in matt black. Its circular aluminium frame carries an integrated 51W LED module that gives 1,573 lumens of warm white 3000K light through a diffuser running along the inner face of the ring, so the glow falls directly downward rather than spilling across the room. The powder-coated finish is low in sheen, which keeps fingerprints at bay and lets the ring settle quietly into a dark ceiling when it is switched off.

We would hang the Rim over a dining table, a kitchen island or an open-plan seating area where a single fitting needs to light a broad surface. The 120 degree beam angle spreads light evenly beneath the ring instead of drawing a tight pool, so it works for task lighting and softer ambient moods alike. It suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or more, where the ring can sit comfortably above the surface it is lighting without crowding the space.

The Rim is dimmable and pairs with most leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers (sold separately), letting you take it from full brightness down to a low ambient setting.
