Description

We stock the Rim as a 600mm circular LED ceiling light built from a single aluminium ring finished in brass. An integrated 35W LED strip runs inside the profile and gives 1521 to 1531 lumens depending on the colour temperature you pick, casting light down through the centre and up onto the ceiling so you get an indirect wash alongside direct light. It is a warm metallic accent that reads well against white or neutral ceilings without dominating the space.

This size suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with standard ceiling heights, where you want one fitting to cover both ambient and functional lighting. The 120 degree beam angle spreads the downlight evenly across the room rather than throwing a narrow cone, so a 4 to 5 metre square space is lit right into the corners. The ring sits low against the ceiling, giving enough clearance for the upward wash while keeping a clean line overhead.

The selectable colour temperature lets you switch between a warm 2600K white and a neutral 3500K white to match the room and the time of day. The LED is dimmable on a compatible trailing-edge dimmer (sold separately), so you can take it from full brightness down to a soft glow. It runs on 220 to 240V mains, has a CRI of 80 for natural-looking colour, and is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only.

This is the 600mm version in brass. The ring is aluminium with a brass finish, and we also stock the Rim in a 400mm size and in black if you need a different fit.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 35W LED dims on a compatible trailing-edge dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness down to a soft glow.

Can I change the colour of the light?

Yes. The colour temperature is selectable between a warm 2600K white and a neutral 3500K white, so you can match it to the room and the time of day you use the space.

Where can I fit it?

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. We would not recommend it for bathrooms or any damp or outdoor location.
