Description

The Rigoberta Trio is a modern indirect wall light with a playful, graphic outline. A slim iron structure in a matt white finish forms a T, and each of its three arms ends in a round disc of opal glass. Opal glass diffuses the light, so the glow is soft and even rather than sharp, and as an indirect light it gives a gentle wash instead of a harsh glare. It measures 29cm tall and 45cm wide and stands 9cm out from the wall, with each round opal glass shade 8cm across.

Because it is rated IP20, it is for dry rooms only, and it suits a living room, bedroom, hallway or landing where a softer light is welcome. We like it above a sofa or beside a bed, where its slim 9cm projection keeps it out of the way, and its clean white lines sit comfortably in a modern home. A pair either side of a hall mirror or a doorway works well too, and at 45cm wide it is happy on a narrow stretch of wall between windows or along a stairwell.

The structure is iron in a matt white finish, paired with opal glass shades, and it carries a 3 year guarantee. It runs on 220-240V mains and is a fitting for a qualified electrician to install. It is a simple on-off light, so it works from an ordinary switch rather than a dimmer, and its lamp cap is GX53, so any lamp you fit needs that cap. As a styling note, the matt white looks its best against a soft grey, sage or warm plaster wall, where the three white discs read as a crisp, graphic shape even with the light off.
