Description

Rigoberta is a wall light with a sense of humour: a thick iron tube bends into a tight arch over a round wall plate, and each end of the curve drops down to an opal glass globe. It is finished in matt white, so the frame and the soft white glass read as one smooth, quiet shape. Each globe is 10cm across, and the opal glass diffuses the direct light into a gentle glow rather than the glare of a bare lamp. The whole fitting is 23cm tall and 26cm wide, and it projects 12cm from the wall. It has two G9 lamp holders, and we recommend G9 LED lamps for it.

At 26cm wide and only 12cm deep, Rigoberta fits where space is tight: either side of a bed in place of bedside lamps, along a hallway or landing, or beside a mirror in a dressing room. A pair either side of a sofa, a fireplace or a sideboard gives a living room a balanced, symmetrical glow. The rounded, modern shape suits a calm Scandinavian scheme or a crisp contemporary room, and the matt white finish sits quietly against pale walls so the curve and the globes do the talking. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only.
