Our Rigoberta pendant bends a tube of matt black iron into a smooth, tall arch and finishes each end with an opal glass globe, so two spheres of soft light hang side by side at the foot of each curve. It measures 35cm tall and 26cm across, and each globe is 10cm in diameter, which keeps the fitting compact without losing its cheerful outline. The opal glass spreads the light gently and hides the lamp inside. It takes two G9 lamps, and G9 LED lamps are the recommended choice.

Hang it over a dining table, a sideboard or a desk, or let it light a hallway, a landing or a bedroom where a plain pendant would feel too ordinary. Its balanced, symmetrical shape suits a modern interior, and at 26cm across it sits comfortably over a small table for two or a narrow console. It hangs from an 8cm round ceiling canopy on 1.5m of textile cable. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.
