The Rigoberta is a modern indirect wall light in matt black: a slim cylindrical bar with a flat round disc at each end and an 8cm opal glass shade. Instead of shining out into the room, it sends its light back onto the wall, so you see a soft glow around the fitting rather than a bright point. It is built from an iron structure with opal glass, stands 26.5cm tall and sits just 9cm out from the wall, which keeps it tidy in a narrow hallway or beside a bed. It takes one GX53 lamp.

Because the light is indirect, it is made for atmosphere rather than reading or task light. Fit one either side of a bed, along a hallway or landing, beside a sofa in the living room, or on a stair wall for a soft glow on the way up. A pair either side of a fireplace or a doorway frames it calmly, and a run of them suits a modern restaurant, café or office reception where a soft wall glow sets the mood. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. As a mains wall light, it is for a qualified electrician to install.
