Description

Our Rigoberta wall light sets a sphere of alabaster on top of a slim gold stem, which rises from a round disc canopy on the wall. The alabaster globe is 10cm across, the disc canopy is 8cm across, and the whole fitting is 28.5cm tall and stands 12cm out from the wall. Alabaster is a natural stone that lets light pass through it, so when it is lit the globe glows softly and its veining shows, giving a gentle light rather than a hard beam. The structure is iron in a gold finish, and the cable is textile.

It is a modern, compact wall light, slim enough for a narrow hallway, a landing or an entrance, and well suited beside a bed or on a living room wall where you want a soft glow rather than a bright overhead light. In a dining room, a pair either side of a sideboard or a fireplace gives an even, low light for evenings. Several along a corridor make a quiet rhythm of small globes.
