Description

The Rigoberta Duo Super Curved is a modern pendant built from matt black iron tubes and opal glass globes. A straight horizontal bar carries a globe at each end, and beneath it an arch curves down into a second pair, so four white spheres hang together in one balanced, slightly playful shape. Each globe is 10cm across, and the pendant as a whole is 42cm tall and 49.5cm wide. It has four G9 lamp holders and we recommend G9 LED lamps. The opal glass softens the light, so each globe glows rather than showing a bare bulb.

Its width and open outline make it a natural fit over a dining table, where the lower pair of globes sits closest to the table and the upper pair spreads the glow outwards. It works just as well as the centrepiece of a living room, in a bedroom, in a hallway or over a desk in a home office, anywhere a modern room wants a light with some character. The black lines read crisply against pale walls and ceilings, and the white globes keep it light in feel. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The structure is iron, finished in matt black, and it hangs from a 1.5m textile cable with an 8cm ceiling canopy.
