Description

The Rigoberta Duo Direct is a modern wall light made of a straight matt white bar with an opal glass globe at each end and a round plate at its centre that sits against the wall. The structure is iron and the globes are opal glass, which softens the light into an even, diffused glow with no bare bulb on view. It is 49cm wide and projects 12cm from the wall, and each globe shade is 10cm across. It has G9 lamp holders, and G9 LED is the lamp type we recommend.

Because it sits close to the wall, it works well where space is tight: along a hallway or landing, beside a staircase, or above a bed in place of a pair of bedside lamps. In a living room it makes a neat light above a sideboard or either side of a chimney breast, and in a home office it gives soft background light above a desk. The clean lines and round globes suit a modern interior, and the matt white finish sits quietly against pale walls. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only and not for anywhere it could be splashed.

The iron structure carries a matt white finish, and the opal glass globes are white too, so the whole fitting reads as one soft, pale piece.
