Description

Our Rigoberta curved wall light is a smooth arch of matt white iron, with a round disc at each end and another at the centre of the curve. It is an indirect fitting. Rather than shining out into the room, it washes its light back across the wall, and opal glass keeps that glow soft and even. The arch is 50cm wide and 32cm tall and sits just 9cm out from the wall, so it stays neat in a hallway or beside a bed. Its round shades are each 8cm across, and it uses the GX53 lamp cap.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, which still leaves plenty of choice. Above a sofa or sideboard in a living room it gives a gentle background light for the evening, and on a landing the soft wash across the wall makes a narrow space feel calmer. In a bedroom it works well above a chest of drawers or on the wall beside a dressing table, and in a study or dining room it adds a quiet, graphic shape when the main light is off.
