The Riga is a modern pendant light that hangs two glass globes from a slim, arched frame in matt black iron. Each globe is a 10cm sphere of white glass, and the fitting has two G9 lamp holders; we recommend G9 LED lamps, which give a soft, even glow through the glass. It comes in two sizes, each named for its width. The 50cm size is 50cm wide, with two 10cm globes and an 8cm canopy. The 80cm size is 80cm wide, with the same two 10cm globes and the same 8cm canopy, so it spreads the pair of globes across a wider span.

We think the Riga suits rooms that want a gentle, ambient light rather than a bright wash. Hang it in a bedroom, above a dining table, over a desk in a study or in a living room, where the two globes read as a pair.
