Description

Our René pendant draws one clean, level line of light across a room. A slim black LED bar hangs horizontally between two orange uprights, with a 12cm canopy at the ceiling. It comes in two lengths, 120cm and 160cm. The 120cm version runs at 12W and gives 1000 lumens; the 160cm version runs at 16W and gives 1300 lumens. Both are integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit or replace, and both give a warm 3000K light with a colour rendering index of 90 or more, which keeps food, fabrics and skin tones looking true. A wide 120° beam spreads the light along the bar rather than pooling it in one spot.

A long, low pendant like this earns its place wherever you want light laid along a line. Hang it over a dining table, along a desk in a home office, above a sideboard or across a reception counter, and it spreads light along the whole surface. The 120cm length suits a smaller table or a single desk; the 160cm length covers a longer dining table or a counter. The orange uprights bring a warm shot of colour to white or pale grey walls and sit happily in modern rooms. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as dining rooms, living rooms, studies and studios. It is not dimmable and works from an ordinary on-off switch.
