Description

The Rendez-vous ceiling canopy is the round plate that sits on the ceiling and powers a small group of pendants. It hangs 3 or 4 pendants, each sold separately, and they give all the light: the canopy has no light of its own. Inside is a built-in 25W driver that feeds the pendants at 24V DC, so the driver for them is already taken care of. The canopy is a flat, round disc 24.5cm across and 3.7cm tall, set on a slim hexagonal bracket, and we offer it in White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze or Brushed Brass.

We would put it wherever a cluster of pendants earns its place: over a dining table, in a hallway, down a stairwell or above a sideboard in a living room. With 3 or 4 drops from one point, it gathers the light into a single group instead of scattering fittings across the ceiling. The driver is dimmable by DALI or push, so the pendants can be turned down for a quiet supper or brought up when you need to see clearly. This is an indoor canopy for dry rooms. Alongside the pendants, you will need the accessory for hanging the electric cable: it is not included, it is sold separately, and it does the job of hanging the cable.

It runs on 230V mains and is wired in to the mains by an electrician; this is a fitting for a qualified electrician to install. At 3.7cm tall it keeps a low profile on the ceiling. The brushed finishes, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze and Brushed Brass, show a fine grain, while White, Black and Matt Black give a plain, even surface. Before you order, settle on 3 or 4 pendants, choose a finish to sit with them, and add the accessory for hanging the electric cable so your electrician has everything in one visit.
