Description

The Reina is a small modern pendant light in matt polished brass, with an opal glass shade set beneath a flat brass disc. A slim cylindrical brass body runs down to the disc, and under it sits the soft, rounded shade, 6.5cm across, which spreads the light evenly, so you see a gentle glow rather than a bright point. The disc is 19.5cm across, the fitting is 18.5cm tall, and it hangs from an 8cm ceiling canopy on a 1.5m textile cable. Its light source is the Dash bulb type, rated at 4W and giving 330 lumens of warm 2700K light, with a colour rendering index of 85 or more, so colours look true.

Hang it over a dining table, beside a bed in place of a table lamp, or in a hallway or on a landing where a smaller fitting suits the space. At 330 lumens it gives a soft, warm glow that works well as ambient or accent light, and a few hung in a row or at staggered heights over a long table let the discs repeat along its length. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and studies. The clean lines and warm metal suit a modern scheme.
