Description

The Reflek is a 144cm linear outdoor wall light with an integrated 20W LED producing 3000K warm white light through an indirect upward and downward beam. The anthracite powder-coated aluminium housing measures 1440mm long by 50mm projection and carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction.

Designed for exterior façades, garden walls, boundary walls and garage exteriors where long horizontal illumination is needed, the Reflek provides wash lighting rather than spot illumination. The indirect light emission eliminates glare and direct view of the LED source, making it comfortable for pathways, seating areas and entrances. The 50mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, reducing obstruction in narrow passages or where clearance is limited.

The powder-coated aluminium resists corrosion in coastal and damp climates better than untreated metal. The anthracite finish is a dark grey tone that sits between black and mid-grey, blending against rendered walls, brick and timber cladding without standing out as a stark black accent. The glass diffuser spreads the LED light evenly along the length of the fitting, avoiding the hotspotting common in cheaper linear wall lights with exposed LED strips. The 20W output is fixed and cannot be dimmed.

What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?

IP54 confirms the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any angle. It can be installed in exposed positions under eaves, on garden walls or boundary walls where it receives rain splashes but not direct high-pressure water jets. It is not submersible and should not be installed where standing water can collect inside the housing.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated 20W LED driver does not support dimming. The light output is fixed at full brightness when switched on.

How is the light distributed?

The Reflek emits light both upward and downward in an indirect beam, washing the wall surface above and below the fitting rather than projecting light forward. This creates ambient wash lighting without glare or direct view of the LED source.

What wall mounting is required?

The fitting mounts to a flat vertical surface using screws through the rear backplate. The cable entry is typically via the rear or one end of the housing, allowing the mains cable to be concealed within the wall or run through conduit. Fitting requires access to a mains supply rated for outdoor use.
