Can this be used in fully exposed outdoor positions?

The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes from any direction, so the fitting can be used in sheltered outdoor positions such as under eaves, covered patios, or terrace walls. For fully unsheltered positions exposed to driving rain, a higher IP rating (IP65 or IP66) would be more appropriate.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000-30,000 hours typical lifespan, which equates to approximately 10-15 years of use at 5-6 hours per night.

What direction does the light face?

The Reflek casts light downwards along the wall surface below the fitting, creating indirect wall wash illumination rather than projecting light outwards or upwards. This makes it suitable for accent lighting along walls rather than area or path lighting.

How is it mounted to the wall?

The fitting mounts via a rear fixing plate that secures to the wall with appropriate fixings for the substrate (masonry bolts for brick or block, coach screws for timber cladding). The mains cable enters through a rear cable entry point in the backplate. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
