Description

The Recinto is a 53cm diameter crystal chandelier built around eight E27 bulb fittings concealed beneath a textured glass diffuser panel. Rectangular crystal prisms hang vertically around the perimeter of the chrome frame, refracting and scattering light from the bulbs across walls and ceiling. The chrome canopy and suspension cables give the fitting a contemporary profile against traditional crystal chandelier silhouettes.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Recinto provides both ambient light through the diffuser panel and decorative sparkle from the crystal surround. The adjustable cables allow the pendant to be set between 29cm and 89cm drop, meaning it can hang 60-70cm above a dining table in a standard-height room or be raised closer to the ceiling in lower spaces. The eight E27 fittings accept standard bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and total output.

Each rectangular crystal prism is facet-cut on multiple edges to maximise light refraction, creating rainbow scatter patterns on surrounding surfaces when the chandelier is lit. The chrome frame finish is polished rather than brushed, giving high reflectivity that amplifies the brightness of the crystal. The 17cm body height plus diffuser gives the fitting physical presence without the mass of a traditional tiered chandelier, making it suitable for open-plan spaces where a lighter aesthetic is needed. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

What bulbs does the Recinto take?

The chandelier has eight E27 (Edison screw) bulb fittings, each rated for bulbs up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to achieve sufficient brightness without heat build-up.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen. Standard LED bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker if connected to a dimmer circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable cables allow the chandelier to be set between 29cm and 89cm drop from the ceiling. For installation above a dining table, a ceiling height of 2.4m or above is recommended to allow the pendant to hang 60-70cm above the table surface without dominating headroom.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Remove dust from the crystal prisms using a soft microfibre cloth or a light dusting with compressed air. For fingerprints or smudges, dampen a cloth very lightly with distilled water and wipe gently, then dry immediately with a clean dry cloth to prevent water spots.
