Description

The Rea Dome Pendant Light is a single pendant with a wide, shallow dome shade in matt green aluminium, hung on a slim stem and textile cable. The dome has a flat top that rounds softly over at the rim into short straight sides, so it reads as low and broad rather than tall. It comes in two sizes: 38cm across and 50cm across. On the 38cm size the shade is 10cm deep, the ceiling canopy is 12cm across and the cable is 1.5m long. It has one GX53 lamp holder, so it needs one GX53 lamp.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, which keeps it to the living spaces of the home. It sits naturally over a dining table, where the dome sends its light down onto the table top, and it works just as well in a living room, a bedroom or above a desk. The 38cm size suits a smaller table, a bedside or a reading corner, while the 50cm size is the wider of the two and fills more of the space over a larger dining table. Its clean, modern lines and soft green sit comfortably in Scandinavian schemes and in rooms built around natural wood, linen and plain walls.

The shade is aluminium in a matt green finish, and it hangs on a textile cable. It is an on-off fitting for 220-240V mains, switched rather than dimmed, so it needs no dimmer.
