The Rania table lamp pairs a cylindrical concrete base with a white cream fabric shade. The base is finished in anthracite, a deep dark grey, and has a softly rounded top and the fine, slightly mottled surface of real concrete. A slim dark stem rises from its crown to hold the shade, which is cylindrical too and marked with a neat grid of stitched lines. The lamp stands 60cm tall overall, on a 12.5cm base, with an 18cm shade that is 25cm tall. It has one E27 lamp holder, the standard large screw cap, which a wide choice of bulbs fits.

At 60cm tall it sits comfortably on a sideboard, console table or chest of drawers, bringing a pool of light to a living room, hallway or dining room. It suits a desk in a home office and a generous bedside table too, where the fabric shade softens the light for reading and winding down.
