Ramia Floral Stoneware Vase 13.5cm - Green

This small stoneware vase has a garden growing up its front. A spray of flowers, buds, stems and leaves stands out in raised relief, modelled in three dimensions so you can trace each petal with a fingertip. The body is rounded and gently uneven, with soft dents and swells across its surface, and it narrows to a short neck with a small opening. At 10cm across and 13.5cm tall it is a bud vase in scale, made for one or two stems rather than a full bunch, and at 0.3KG it sits lightly in the hand. It is 100% stoneware, finished in a green reactive glaze.

Its size makes it easy to place. On a dining table it adds a little colour without blocking anyone's view across the table, and a single garden rose, a sprig of greenery or a couple of dried seed heads will look right in that narrow neck. It works just as well on a windowsill, a bedside table, a bathroom shelf or a desk, and on a mantelpiece it sits happily beside taller pieces. Stoneware is fired at high temperatures, which gives it a dense, sturdy body.
