Description

Raisa is a modern arc floor lamp in matt black, built around a slim iron stem and a long arm that reaches out and over, with a white fabric drum shade hanging from its tip. The shade is 45cm across and 20cm tall, a generous drum that gives a soft, even glow over the space beneath it. It takes one E27 lamp, the standard screw cap, which gives a wide choice of bulb warmth and brightness. The round base keeps the footprint neat while the arm carries the light well out from the stem.

Because the arm reaches out from the stem, the base can stand beside or behind a sofa or armchair while the drum shade hangs over the seat, a coffee table or a reading corner. That makes it a natural choice for a living room, a bedroom or a home office where a ceiling point is in the wrong place or missing altogether. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The 2m plastic cable gives some freedom in where you place it in relation to the socket, and its on-off switching keeps things simple: no dimmer to set up, just light when you want it.
