Description

The Rafaela Mono is a compact LED drum pendant in matt black. A slim stem sits above a low, flat drum head that sends its light downward through a methacrylate diffuser. The drum shade is 14cm across, and it hangs on a 1.5m cable from an 8cm round canopy. Its light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit. It draws 11.8W and gives 1520 lumens with a broad 120° beam. With a CRI of 90 or above, colours, food and fabrics look true beneath it. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 3000K or 2700K, so you can choose between a clean warm white and a softer, cosier glow.

Because it is a single, small pendant, it suits places where a big fitting would crowd the room: over a bedside table in place of a lamp, above a reading chair, at the end of a hallway or on a landing. Hung in a row of two or three, it lights a dining table or a sideboard evenly without blocking the view across it. It works on an on-off switch rather than a dimmer, so it suits rooms where you want a steady, dependable light. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Its structure is iron and brass, the head is aluminium and the diffuser is methacrylate, which spreads the LED into a soft, even light. The matt black finish is low-sheen and quiet, so the fitting reads as a graphic shape against pale walls and ceilings. It carries a 5 year guarantee. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, the 1.5m cable lets it hang low over a bedside or a dining table, where the drum sits like a neat black disc. Pair it with warm timber or soft linen to balance its clean lines.
