Description

The Radity is a 2m black aluminium magnetic track designed for 48V DC lighting systems. The track accepts magnetic spotlights, pendant adaptors and linear modules that clip directly onto the rail without tools, allowing light positions to be moved and adjusted after installation. The track itself is surface-mounted to ceilings or walls using the concealed fixing channels on the back of the profile.

Designed for residential living rooms, kitchens, home offices and commercial retail or gallery spaces, the Radity allows multiple light sources to run from a single track installation. The 2m length suits runs above kitchen islands, along corridor ceilings, or across office desks where several task lights need to share one power feed. The track can be cut to shorter lengths on-site or joined end-to-end with connector accessories (sold separately) to create longer continuous runs.

The black aluminium extrusion measures 25mm wide by 5.5mm deep, giving a low-profile presence on white or light-coloured ceilings. The 48V DC power supply (sold separately) connects at one end of the track via a recessed input terminal, and the magnetic fixtures draw power through contact points along the rail. The aluminium construction dissipates heat from high-output LED modules more effectively than plastic track systems.

What lights are compatible with this track?

The Radity track accepts magnetic spotlights, pendant adaptors and linear LED modules designed for 48V DC magnetic track systems. Maytoni produces a range of compatible fittings in the Radity series. Lights from other manufacturers may fit physically but compatibility with the power delivery should be confirmed before purchasing.

Does the track come with a power supply?

No. The track requires a separate 48V DC power supply matched to the total wattage of the lights you intend to run on the rail. The power supply connects at one end of the track via a recessed input terminal.

Can the track be cut to a shorter length?

Yes. The aluminium extrusion can be cut to length using a fine-toothed hacksaw or mitre saw. The cut end will need to be deburred and the power input relocated to the new end point.

How is the track mounted?

The track surface-mounts to ceilings or walls using screws driven through concealed fixing channels on the back of the profile. The fixing points are typically spaced every 500-600mm along the 2m length for secure attachment to plasterboard, timber joists or masonry.
