Description

We stock the Radity track lighting rail as a 1m black section for 48V AC track lighting systems. It is built from aluminium and plastic with a matt black finish, and the channel carries the contact rails that connect compatible track spotlights and pendants. As a component it does the structural and electrical carrying work, so you choose the fittings that run along it.

We supply this rail for retail, gallery, office and home settings where you want adjustable accent lighting along a clean ceiling line. Once it is fixed, spotlights clip or twist-lock into the channel and can be positioned anywhere along the 1m length, then moved later without any rewiring. Multiple 1m sections join end to end with compatible connectors, and corner or T-junction connectors let you build L-shaped or branching layouts.

The rail runs on 48V AC, so it needs a separate driver and track power feed, both sold separately and usually fitted at one end of the run. It is rated IP20 for indoor use and is not dimmable in itself, since dimming depends on the driver and the spotlights you pair with it. The aluminium body helps spread heat from several spotlights, while the black finish sits quietly against dark ceilings or reads as a crisp line on lighter ones.

What is included with the rail?

You get the 1m black track rail section on its own. The spotlights, connectors, driver and track power feed are all sold separately, so you can put together exactly the layout and fittings you need.

How do spotlights fix to the rail?

Compatible track spotlights clip or twist-lock into the channel and draw power from the contact rails inside it. You can slide them anywhere along the 1m length and reposition them later without rewiring.

Can I make a longer or angled run?

Yes. Several 1m sections join end to end with compatible connectors for a longer straight run, and corner or T-junction connectors (sold separately) let you form L-shaped or branching layouts.

Is this rail suitable for bathrooms or dimming?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The rail is not dimmable on its own; any dimming comes from the 48V driver and the spotlights you choose to pair with it.
