Description

The Radial canopy is a round ceiling canopy in black, 24.5cm across and 3.7cm high, made to hang a cluster of 3 or 4 pendants from one point on the ceiling. It gives no light of its own: it powers the pendants hung from it, each sold separately, through its built-in 12W driver, which feeds them at 24V DC. That settles one practical question straight away, because the driver your low-voltage pendants need is already inside the canopy. From the room, you see a clean, flat black disc sitting close to the ceiling, with the driver housing tucked out of sight behind it.

We would choose it wherever you want several pendants to fall from a single point: over a dining table, in a hallway or stairwell, or above a favourite chair in a living room. It is for indoor use, in dry rooms. On its own it does nothing, so it needs its pendants: up to 3 or 4 of them, each sold separately, fed at 24V DC by the canopy's 12W driver. It also needs the accessory for hanging the electric cable, which is not included and is bought separately, so plan for that alongside your pendants. Choosing them all together means you have everything in hand when the electrician comes to fit it.

The canopy comes in a black finish and is not dimmable, so the pendants it powers are simply switched on and off.
