Description

The Quios is a 46cm flush ceiling light built around a circular shade of layered polycarbonate plates, each with a corrugated surface that creates ridges running along the entire perimeter. The plates overlap to form a textured profile that casts shadows and catches light across the surface even when the fitting is switched off. A lower diffuser panel spreads light evenly across the room while concealing the four E27 bulbs inside.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.5m, the Quios sits 16cm deep from the ceiling surface and mounts flush without a drop rod. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor spaces only. The matte white finish on the polycarbonate plates pairs with neutral, Scandi and contemporary interiors where a textural accent is needed without introducing strong colour contrast.

The fitting ships with four E27 LED bulbs rated at 20W each and accepts standard E27 replacements up to 20W per socket. The corrugated layers sit within a metal frame that fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose, with the wiring concealed behind the diffuser panel. At 3.17kg the fitting requires secure fixing into a joist or ceiling suitable for the load, particularly on plasterboard ceilings.

Yes. The fitting ships with four E27 LED bulbs rated at 20W each. Replacement bulbs are widely available — use any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 20W per socket.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The Quios sits 16cm from the ceiling surface, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.5m where a pendant drop would intrude into headroom. The flush mount gives a clean profile without protruding far into the room.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Quios to dry indoor spaces only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or areas where moisture or steam are present.

How is the fitting secured to the ceiling?

The metal frame fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose using the mounting plate supplied. At 3.17kg, the fitting must be secured into a joist or ceiling structure capable of supporting the load — on plasterboard ceilings this may require a spreader plate or additional fixing points.
