Description
We stock the Quadra in the Tree finish as an 800mm oak bollard light for outdoor pathways and driveways. It has an integrated 8W LED giving 520 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, set into a matt black aluminium top with a clear polycarbonate diffuser section below. The LED casts light in a full 360 degree pattern through the diffuser, so it lights the ground around it evenly rather than throwing a beam in one direction.
This is marker lighting for the route to your door, and it works well along front garden paths, side passages between properties, and driveways with planting borders. At 800mm the light sits around knee height, which keeps glare low while still defining the edge of the path after dark. The IP65 rating means it stands up to dust and water jets, so it is happy left out through UK weather all year round.
The column is FSC-certified oak cut into a square-section post, so the grain, knots and tone vary a little from one bollard to the next. Left untreated it will weather to a silver-grey patina over time, or you can keep the warmer golden-brown look with an exterior wood oil. The clear diffuser gives a crisp 3000K white without the amber cast a frosted cover can add, and the 90 CRI rendering keeps colours looking true. It runs on 220-240V mains at 50Hz and is not dimmable.

Frequently Asked
Is this bollard suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which protects the internal parts against dust and water jets, so it is built for permanent outdoor use through UK weather all year round.
How much light does it give, and in which direction?
The integrated 8W LED produces 520 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, spread in a full 360 degree pattern through the clear diffuser so it lights the ground evenly all around the post.
Is it dimmable?
No. The LED is integrated and runs at a fixed output on 220-240V mains, so it is not designed to be used with a dimmer.
Does the oak need any treatment?
It does not have to be treated. Left as it is, the FSC-certified oak weathers naturally to a silver-grey patina, or you can apply an exterior wood oil to hold the warmer golden-brown tone.
