Description

The QTX Bubble Box is a mains-powered bubble machine built into a compact steel housing measuring 390 x 300 x 255mm. A single 10-wand wheel rotating at 45 rpm dips into a 0.7-litre fluid reservoir and is driven through three fans — one front-mounted for bubble projection and two rear-mounted for airflow circulation. The machine operates on 230Vac mains power consuming 26W and can be controlled via either a wired remote or a wireless remote operating on 433.92MHz.

Designed for stage effects, parties, weddings, and event production where continuous bubble output is needed without manual operation, the Bubble Box pairs portability with high bubble volume. The steel construction houses the motor, wheel assembly and fluid tank, while the top-mounted handle allows transport between events. A quick-drain tap at the rear simplifies cleaning and fluid changes between uses, particularly when switching between standard and UV-reactive bubble fluids.

The 0.7-litre tank capacity provides approximately 2-3 hours of continuous operation depending on wheel speed and fluid viscosity, reducing the need for frequent refills during longer events. The wireless remote allows operation from up to 10-15 metres away, useful for triggering bubble bursts from a DJ booth or stage wing without accessing the machine directly. At 4.5kg the machine is portable enough for mobile DJs and event technicians to move between venues without needing a dedicated flight case.

The three-fan design maximises bubble projection distance compared to single-fan models, pushing bubbles 3-4 metres forward from the machine depending on ambient air movement and ceiling height. The compact footprint suits stages with limited floor space and can be positioned on a riser, truss shelf, or directly on stage flooring depending on the desired effect height.

Frequently Asked

What bubble fluid does it use?

The Bubble Box works with standard water-based bubble fluids designed for machines with rotating wheels. Use fluids labelled for bubble machines rather than hand-held wands, as machine fluids have the viscosity needed to form consistent bubbles on the rotating wands. UV-reactive fluids can also be used for blacklight effects.

How long does the 0.7L tank last?

Tank duration depends on wheel speed and fluid viscosity, but typically provides 2-3 hours of continuous operation. The quick-drain tap at the rear allows fast refilling between sets or events without tipping the machine.

What's the wireless remote range?

The 433.92MHz wireless remote operates at approximately 10-15 metres line-of-sight. Range may reduce in environments with RF interference or when the machine is positioned behind stage elements. A wired remote is also included for direct control.

How far does it project bubbles?

The three-fan configuration projects bubbles 3-4 metres forward from the machine under typical indoor conditions. Projection distance varies with ceiling height, ambient air movement, and whether the machine is positioned at floor level or on a riser.
