Description

The Puntes is a 38cm crystal chandelier built around a gold-finished metal frame supporting four E14 bulb sockets. Trapezoidal cut-crystal prisms hang vertically around the frame in a single drum layer, refracting light across multiple facets. Each bulb sits inside the drum, so light passes both directly downward and through the crystal before reaching the room.

Designed for dining rooms, bedroom centrepieces and hallways with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Puntes provides decorative ambient light rather than task lighting. The chain allows the drop to be adjusted between 43.8cm and 66.8cm during installation, so the fitting can be set 60-80cm above a dining table or raised higher in a bedroom depending on the room layout. The gold canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the chain conceals the cable run.

The crystal prisms are cut with sharp geometric facets that catch overhead light and lamplight from the four bulbs, creating rainbow refractions on nearby walls and ceilings when the chandelier is lit. The gold finish on the metal frame and canopy is a warm yellow-gold tone rather than rose or antique, pairing comfortably with brass hardware, gold-framed mirrors and warm-toned interiors. Each of the four E14 bulbs (sold separately) can be up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose LED or candle-style filament bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and brightness.

What bulbs does it take?

The Puntes takes four E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a warm ambient glow that complements the gold finish.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

The minimum drop of 43.8cm makes the Puntes workable in rooms with 2.4m ceilings if the chandelier is placed centrally rather than over a dining table. For positioning above a table, ceiling heights of 2.6m or above give enough clearance to avoid head-height issues when people stand.

Can the height be adjusted after installation?

The chain can be shortened during installation by removing links before the chandelier is wired in. Once installed and wired, adjusting the height requires disconnecting the power, unwiring the fitting, and re-hanging at the new length.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Wipe each crystal prism individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal fittings that hold each prism in place. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystals or gold frame.
