Description

We stock the Pro Focus as a slim tube pendant for focused light from above. A 300mm cylindrical body in matt black aluminium houses a single GU10 fitting that aims the light straight down in a tight beam, so it works as task light over a work surface rather than soft ambient light for a room. The GU10 bulb is sold separately and takes up to 6W, which lets you pick the beam angle and colour temperature that suit the job.

We like this pendant over a kitchen island, a bar counter, a reception desk or a retail display, anywhere you want directed light dropping onto a work surface. It hangs well on its own and looks tidy run in a row of two or more along a longer worktop. The narrow black body keeps things low-key against contemporary, industrial and pared-back interiors, and the matt finish holds back reflections.

The pendant runs on a standard 220-240V supply through its single GU10 lamp holder, and the bulb is not included so you can match it to the light you want. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, so keep it away from bathrooms and outdoor spots. This fitting is not dimmable, and the drop can be shortened on installation where your ceiling sits lower.

Frequently Asked

What bulb does it take?

It takes a single GU10 bulb up to 6W, which is not included so you can choose the beam angle and colour temperature that suit you. We would suggest a warm white GU10 for a homely feel or a cooler one for task work.

Is it dimmable?

No, this pendant is not dimmable. You set the light level by your choice of GU10 bulb rather than a dimmer switch.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet areas or outdoor locations. It is a good fit for kitchens, counters, reception desks and retail displays.

Can I shorten the drop?

Yes. The cable suspension is adjustable on installation, so your electrician can shorten the drop to suit a lower ceiling before fixing it in place.
