PowerMaster High Bay 90 Degree Reflector - Aluminium IP65

The PowerMaster High Bay 90 Degree Reflector is an aluminium accessory designed to fit PowerMaster high bay LED fittings, narrowing the beam angle to 90 degrees and directing light downward into the working area below. The reflector clips or screws onto the existing high bay housing, replacing the standard 120-degree beam pattern with a more focused distribution that concentrates light onto aisles, production lines and retail floor space.

Suited to warehouses, factories, gymnasiums and large retail spaces with ceiling heights between 5m and 12m, the 90-degree reflector reduces light spill onto walls and upper structures, channelling more lumens into the task area. In warehouses with narrow aisles or racking systems that block horizontal light spread, the tighter beam reduces wasted upward or sideways scatter. The IP65 rating allows the reflector to be used in dusty environments and spaces with occasional water ingress, including covered loading bays and unheated production areas.

The reflector weighs 0.36kg and is constructed from pressed aluminium with a polished anodised inner surface that maximises reflectance without degrading over time. The outer housing is powder-coated black to match standard high bay finishes. The reflector does not affect the dimming capability of the high bay fitting itself, but note that PowerMaster high bay LEDs are typically non-dimmable unless specified otherwise.

Does the reflector reduce the lumen output?

The reflector does not reduce total lumens but redirects them into a narrower 90-degree cone. This increases illuminance (lux) in the centre of the lit area while reducing light spill to the sides. In practical terms, the floor directly below the fitting becomes brighter while adjacent areas receive less light.

Can it be used outdoors?

The IP65 rating protects against dust and low-pressure water jets, making the reflector suitable for covered outdoor areas such as loading bays, canopies and semi-enclosed warehouses. It is not rated for direct exposure to heavy rain or submersion.

Is the reflector compatible with dimmable high bay fittings?

Yes, if your PowerMaster high bay LED is dimmable, adding the reflector does not interfere with the dimming function. The reflector is a passive optical component and does not affect the driver or control circuitry.
