Description

The PowerMaster 4ft IP65 twin batten fitting accepts two T8 LED tubes (sold separately) in a single-end connection configuration, housed in a polystyrene diffuser with polycarbonate clips and an ABS base. The IP65 rating provides protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making the fitting suitable for outdoor installations, car parks, cold stores and industrial environments where exposure to moisture and airborne particles is expected.

Designed for warehouses, workshops, parking areas and covered outdoor zones, the twin-tube layout delivers higher lumen output than single battens while maintaining the same 1265mm length. The single-end connection means power is supplied to one end of the LED tube only, requiring compatible T8 LED tubes with this wiring configuration rather than double-ended tubes. The fitting mounts to ceiling or wall surfaces via keyhole slots on the ABS base.

The 115mm width and 86mm depth give the fitting a low profile once mounted, with the polystyrene diffuser softening the LED output across the 1265mm run. At 1.47kg the fitting is light enough for single-person installation on standard ceiling joists or metal framework. The IP65 rating qualifies the batten for bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3, but not zone 0 (direct water immersion).

No. The fitting is sold as a batten housing only. You will need to purchase two T8 LED tubes separately, ensuring they are compatible with single-end connection wiring. Standard double-ended T8 tubes will not work with this fitting.

IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for outdoor covered areas, car parks, warehouses and damp industrial environments.
