Description

The PowerMaster tamper-proof bulkhead casing is a 283mm circular polycarbonate housing designed to protect outdoor lighting in public spaces, car parks, industrial sites and residential exteriors. The casing accepts bulkhead light fittings up to 15W and carries an IP65 rating against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for permanent outdoor installation.

The tamper-proof design uses security fixings that require specialist tools to remove, deterring vandalism and unauthorised access in locations such as school grounds, multi-storey car parks, stairwells and communal areas. The casing is rated for use in bathroom and outdoor Zones 1, 2 and 3, but not Zone 0 (submersion). It mounts onto standard outdoor junction boxes or wall surfaces using the three-point fixing pattern visible on the rear.

The white polycarbonate body resists impact and UV degradation better than standard ABS housings, maintaining its finish under prolonged sunlight exposure. At 0.24kg the casing is light enough for single-person installation on brick, rendered or timber-clad walls. The circular profile and white finish integrate cleanly with modern and traditional building facades without drawing attention.
