Description
PowerMaster's outdoor LED globe string lights feature 20 shatterproof 50mm globe bulbs spaced 500mm apart on a 9.5m run, with a 5m lead wire giving a total cable length of 14.5m. Each globe houses a static 6W warm white LED at 3000K, and the IP44 rating allows installation in UK outdoor zones 1, 2 and 3 (gardens, patios, covered outdoor areas not subject to water jets).
Designed for garden lighting, outdoor entertaining areas, pergolas and patio installations, the lights connect to standard 220-240V mains via the 5m lead wire. The linkable design allows up to four sets to be connected end-to-end, creating an 80-bulb run of 38m without additional power points. Each globe has a top-mounted hook for hanging from wire, pergola beams, fence rails or tree branches.
The shatterproof casing on each globe protects the LED element from impact and weather without affecting light output. The 360-degree beam angle provides even omnidirectional light rather than spotlighting, making them suitable for ambient outdoor lighting rather than task illumination. The white bulb casing gives a neutral appearance when unlit, pairing with most outdoor furniture and architectural finishes.

Frequently Asked
Can these be used in rain?
The IP44 rating protects against water splashing from any direction, making them suitable for UK outdoor use in zones 1, 2 and 3. They should not be fully submerged or installed in areas subject to direct water jets.
How many sets can be linked together?
Up to four sets can be connected end-to-end, creating an 80-globe run of approximately 38m total length. Linking more than four sets overloads the circuit and is not recommended.
Are the bulbs replaceable?
The LEDs are integrated into each globe unit and not user-replaceable. The shatterproof casing protects the LED element from impact, and the typical LED lifespan is 15,000-25,000 hours.
What's the spacing between bulbs?
The 20 globes are spaced 500mm apart along the 9.5m run. The 5m lead wire from plug to first bulb allows the power connection to be positioned away from the lit section.
