Description

The PowerMaster outdoor string lights consist of 10 replaceable E27 filament-style LED bulbs spaced 650mm apart along a 9m black cable run, with a 3m lead wire from the plug to the first bulb. Each 1.6W LED bulb produces 105 lumens at 2700K warm white and is rated IP44 for outdoor use in zones 1-3, making the set suitable for gardens, patios, pergolas and covered outdoor dining areas.

The cable uses H05VV-F 2 x 1mm² insulated construction and carries an IP44 rating, which protects against splashing water from any direction but does not permit full immersion. The hanging head design means each bulb hangs vertically downward from the cable, rather than sitting in a horizontal socket, giving a bistro-style appearance when strung overhead. The set is linkable up to 5 units end-to-end without needing additional power points, allowing a maximum continuous run of 45m plus lead wire.

All 10 LED bulbs are supplied with the set and are user-replaceable via standard E27 screw fittings. The filament-style LEDs mimic the look of traditional tungsten bulbs while consuming 1.6W each (16W total for the set). The bulbs are rated for 15,000 hours of use and carry EN62471 photobiological safety approval. The set is not dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V mains power.

What does IP44 mean for outdoor use?

IP44 means the cable and bulb sockets are protected against splashing water from any direction. The set can be used in gardens, patios and pergolas exposed to rain, but it must not be submerged in water or used in locations where it would sit in standing water (IP44 is not suitable for zone 0 — fountains, ponds, or pool immersion).

Are the bulbs replaceable?

Yes. Each bulb uses a standard E27 screw fitting and can be replaced individually. The set ships with all 10 filament-style LED bulbs included.

How many sets can be linked together?

Up to 5 sets can be linked end-to-end without needing additional mains sockets, giving a maximum continuous run of 45m of lit cable plus the lead wire from the plug. Each additional set adds 1.6W x 10 bulbs = 16W to the load.

Can the lights be dimmed?

No. The PowerMaster LED bulbs are not dimmable and the set does not include dimmer controls. Connecting the set to a dimmer switch may cause flicker or failure.
