Description

We stock the Porte in black as a slim outdoor bollard light for lining paths, driveways and garden borders. It has an integrated 7W LED giving 250 lumens of warm white (3000K) light through a 36 degree beam, set in a matt black powder-coated aluminium body so the glare stays low and the light lands on the ground where you want it.

We use bollard lights like this to mark the edges of a route rather than flood a whole area, so the Porte suits pathway edges, driveway borders and patio perimeters. It stands at shin height and throws its light downward, which lights the ground plane without shining into the eyes of anyone walking towards it. The IP54 rating means it is protected against dust and water spray from any direction, so it copes with year-round exposure to UK rain and frost.

The Porte runs on 220-240V mains and wires directly through an underground cable, so there is no separate driver box to house outside. The 7W LED is not dimmable and the aluminium body resists corrosion better than painted steel, holding its matt black finish through repeated wet and cold spells. With a CRI of 80 it renders plants and paving honestly, and its warm 3000K tone keeps the look soft after dark.

Is this bollard light suitable for outdoors?

Yes. It carries an IP54 rating, so it is protected against dust and water spray from any direction and is built for year-round use in UK gardens, along paths and beside driveways.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 7W LED is not dimmable, so it runs at a fixed warm white 3000K output whenever it is switched on.

Does it need a separate transformer?

No. It wires straight to 220-240V mains through an underground cable, so you do not need an external transformer or driver to run it.

How bright is it and what colour is the light?

It gives 250 lumens at 3000K, a soft warm white aimed downward through a 36 degree beam to light the ground without glare into your eyes.
