Description

These are LED candles in the shape of a classic taper, sold as a pack of two, each one 2.2cm across and 28.5cm tall. The body turns in a tight spiral twist from a fluted base to a narrow top, where a flame-shaped tip gives the light. The colour is green and the finish is paraffin, so the outer surface of each candle is wax, which gives them the soft sheen of a real taper. At that height they stand well in a candlestick and look in proportion on a mantelpiece or shelf.

Because the light comes from an LED and the power from batteries, there is no plug and no cable to hide, so the pair can go wherever a candlestick stands: a mantelpiece, a sideboard, a hallway console, a deep windowsill or a bookshelf in the living room. A diameter of 2.2cm is a slim taper size, so choose candlesticks or holders with a socket made for a candle 2.2cm across.
